Black officer at scholar's home supports arrest

Actually I think they were trying to wedge the door with their shoulder weren't they?

The caller did the right thing to call and report this. The other option is to ignore a possible crime, this is what happens all too often.

From there it's a he said, he said, and the police are not above twisting what happened, in fact they do it all the time. It does seem however, based on the still photos that Gates was being extremely loud and belligerent. I would also tend to believe that he was accusing all in sight of racism.

Next time a black officer pulls you over try screaming and shouting, "YOU ONLY PULLED ME OVER BECAUSE I'M A WHITE MAN, YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE MESSING WITH!!!!!" See if he has any reaction......

President Obama had no business commenting on this and it's clear that he and his advisers figured that out pretty quickly. It simply isn't presidential.

He was asked a question at the press conference last night, he didn't go out of his way to make a point or comment about it.

I think it's awful funny that the majority (not on this board) were backing one of the most racist people in the world. The man that still preaches how the white man is still holding everyone down.

1. Usually only drunks are in a good mood when arrested that changes.
2. They were trying to get proof and he had to be a hard ass about it.
3. Could be true but whites dont whine like *****es all the time when they get arrested.

It looks like what is going to happen is that only white officers can pull over and/or arrest whites and black officers can only pull over and/or arrest black people and so on with other ethnicities. Its just frustrating!
